We have left!!! We are both extremely excited.
We sailed out of Sydney Heads at around 11.30am heading for Jervis Bay, approximately 80nm south. We are currently reaching under kite and main averaging 8knots. We think we will arrive in Jervis Bay around 11pm tonight.
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone
We enjoyed fireworks on the harbour from our vantage point near the Zoo but only after a few minor arguments with some late coming boats that like to anchor too close or rip out our neighbors anchor. It was great to spend time with so many friends on our last night.
(pause)
It is a beautiful day and we have just had our first pod of dolphins for this voyage.
