Bahaha I will happily relinquish the role when Peter returns tomorrow however I must say I have done pretty good this week.
The kids have been fed, clothed and have fought less than normal WIN!
I have successfully run the yacht and the rubber ducky with only a few phone calls to the hubby for guidance.
I have filled the rubber ducky fuel tank, pumped the inflatable floor up, successfully started the engine and drove to the public wharf a few times a day and only disgraced myself on one exit when the tide just keep pushing me back into the other boats 😂
I have lifted the rubber duck out of the water each night so we don't have the terrible Brisbane River green slime all over it by the time we leave.
I've managed to entertain the children for 6 days with only our legs for walking & public transport- there are so many free activities for children in Brisbane it is awesome plus the FREE City Hopper ferry is an excellent service.
I have started this new role as teacher/supervisor. Motivating the student to want to do school work when there are much more fun things to do is already proving to be a chore!
So all in all I think its been a successful week. Nothing is broken, scratched or lost. The kids and I are looking forward to seeing Peter and are ready to really get this adventure started.
I have been posting photos onto instagram and you can follow along on our adventure with this hash tag #juraadventure2018
